This is the type of kid Kirk has to reel in. You corral the local talent and then cross your fingers as you go after kids from hotbed states.
I thought Ickle said his offer may have been rescinded and Iowa wasn't after him anymore. I thought Iowa has a ton of young DEs plus Epenessa so it seems like there's a ton of bodies that'll be sophomores and younger next yr with or without this kid. I do like that he's a speed rusher. That's what Iowa just never seems to have. I saw TNs DEs the other day just go around Floridas tackles like they were standing still. The only time Iowa's lineman have strait line shots at the qb is when on a stunt they are let in free. It's rare they can beat their guy right off the snap. So if this kid can bring that lets get him
Doesn't look that great stats wise but who knows how accurate JUCO stats are reported.
A Hawk win over NW and a verbal from Van Ginkel would be just what the doctor ordered.
