Uthoff down to Iowa and ISU as of June 2

I'd be very surprised if he went to ISU. He has had every opportunity along the way and hasn't pulled the trigger.
 
TheBluejaycafe is our old friend from KXnO, Matt Perrault, according to another poster on the board...he runs a Creighton website so as the other poster mentioned, pretty credible in this situation...but with MattyP...who really knows.

ISU wants DFS (For those of you who don't know, that's Dorian Finney-Smith, Va Tech transfer who's decision will likely be between Louisville and Iowa State).

All that's left for both sides to get what they want, is for DFS to want ISU. We don't know if he does yet. Marguette and Florida just ran out of scholarships, so they are out of the running for him. He visits Iowa State June 7th.

When he gave the scholarship to Bubu. He made this clear:

He did not think that any 2 person combo of the 4 here would happen.

Uthoff
Pelle
Finney-Smith

Lockett is out. He committed to Marquette awhile ago. Pelle won't likely go to college, and Uthoff is an Iowa fan, with friends on the team, and a hot GF that's a hawk fan.

So now it's DFS or, maybe Marcus Kennedy even. Fred wanted him, until he gave the scholarship to Bubu. Which was about a month ago? Not sure.
 
I'm not sure if you are talking to me or Cardinal but I'll take 6 ppg and 7 rebs and 35% 3 pt shooting. Those are decent #'s for a freshman. And lets face it we don't know if Uthoff will ever put up those #'s or if he can guard anyone at the collegiate level either.

2.) can Uthoff guard anybody in the collegiate level?

3.) can Uthoff score more than 1 ppg?

Do you want DFS or JU now? BTW they are both SFs.
 
Maybe we should hold off judgment on JU until he plays 1 second of college ball. He was a top 100 player according to espn so he can’t be too shabby.
