There definitely could be a chance of seeing this if Iowa and Deleware get into the same pool or both make the championship bracket. Pools have not been announced yet though to my knowledge. Of course Blythe will be on the gridiron playing football for the Hawks while Telford will be wrestling for those that don't know.
 




Iowa will be in pool D for the freestyle duals along with Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, Arkansas, and Georgia. Tough bracket but I'm confident that this team should get through it and do quite well. Most of the studs are there and ready to go for team Iowa.

There are definitely some tough wrestlers on this list and I would expect some of them to be Hawks in the coming years but it's hard to project this early too much. Ballweg and Moore are already committed and will be in the room next year so you can count on those! :)

Clark, Peters, DeVos, Hathaway, Rinken, Caldwell, Krumweide, Koethe, and Pelfrey are definitely some in state underclassmen to keep an eye on! IMHO, Clark and Koethe are the cream of that crop but Peters is right there as well if he can get big enough...

For out of state guys I would pay special attention to Destin McCauley from Minnesota and Morgan McIntosh from California as those are 2 top targets from out of state.
 


And of course things change, but Koethe has already stated publicly on Flo video that he want to wrestle for Iowa. I'm sure they'll be happy to have him.

Has to be a bit of a hollow 2nd. Ohio beat us as well and somehow ended up wrestling for 3rd. Good showing by the guys but I'm guessing a bit disappointing.

nah, Iowa got it done in the championship bracket....sounds like Ohio loaded up to beat Illinois and still didnt get it done

2nd is 2nd but both teams lost to Illinois and Ohio won head to head is all I'm saying. If it were Iowa sitting in 3rd (I'm assuming they beat Wisc. for 3rd, if they didn't ignore this) after beating the 2nd place team I doubt you'd feel the same. :)
