From what I watched of it, Brazil did not look like they were on cruise control. Brazil was taking it to Team USA and they looked really good. A good wake up game for Team USA, with all that talent they should be slaughtering these teams.
But this games shows how big of a difference between the 92 team and this one. The 92 team did not need a wake up call, they came out and stuck it to every team they played against. While this team has superior talent than everyone else, players like Lebron need a wake up game in order to realize that they have to actually use their talent to beat these teams.

92 team lost their first exhibition game against a bunch of college players.

It was a 20 minute scrimmage, not an exhibition game.
That college team had Chris Webber, Grant Hill, Bobby Hurley, Anfernee Hardaway, Jamal Mashburn, Eric Montross, Allan Houston, and Rodney Rogers.

The scrimmage lost to the college players was a fix, part of Coach Chuck Daly’s plan to demonstrate to a team loaded with 11 future basketball Hall of Famers that they could lose in international competition.
“He threw the game,†Mike Krzyzewski, who assisted Daly, along with Wilkens and P. J. Carlesimo, said in the documentary. Daly calmly told Krzyzewski during the scrimmage, “We’re all right.â€
(In 2008, Krzyzewski made similar remarks when he said, “Chuck wanted them to lose.â€)
In the documentary, he said: “If you look at how much Jordan played and how he subbed the guys in, not picking up, not making any adjustments; he knew what he was doing.â€
Asked why Daly did not confide his intentions to his assistants, Krzyzewski said: “We probably would have screwed it up.â€
Before the news media filed in after the scrimmage, Daly ordered that the result be banished from the scoreboard. At their next, and final, scrimmage, the Dream Team trounced the collegians.
And Jordan played a lot more.
that college team would've beaten this brazil team and given a run at this olympic team. 08 olympic team was a better "team" than this one. no front court presence is not good. people can say what they want about jordan wouldnt let the 92 team lose to the 12 team. the real reason 92 would beat 12 is because 12 couldnt stop the 92 big men.
And because the 92 team would have the guys to stop James and Company and that they were just that much better of a team over all.
