The three guards we have in JT, Perkins, Ulis have changed how Fran approaches the game. In years past we could not play man D because we had no one to stop the penetration. We also did not have guards who could break a defense down on offense. These three unsung heros don't always show up in the stat line or press release, but alot of this year's success is because of their play

The three guards we have in JT, Perkins, Ulis have changed how Fran approaches the game. In years past we could not play man D because we had no one to stop the penetration. These three unsung heros don't always show up in the stat line or press release, but alot of this year's success is because of their play

Scoring isn't everything... We haven't had the flexibility on D that those guys help provide. They not only allow us to pressure effectively but yeah just good ole fashioned man to man D is better.

To add onto the point about playing more man to man D by doing that it helps us rebound better. We suck at trying to rebound when we are in zone. Most teams struggle with that at times for obvious reasons and we always do. Playing man to man at least gives our guys a definitive man to box out. It's a world of difference

It would be nice if any of them had a jump shot but regardless, they add a dimension we haven't had in quite a while and credit Fran he's done a great job this yr
