Iowa's offense AT BEST is similar to Northwestern's when Siemien is in at QB and Mike Trumpy is in at RB, though Rudock is a slower, less accurate, weaker armed version of Siemien and we have no receivers or TEs who would start on NU. But when Siemien was in at QB and the game was on the line, OSU blitzed him relentlessly and had a great deal of success doing so. I expect to see them do that to Rudock all day and I'll honestly be surprised if Iowa's offense crosses the 50 yard line three times in C-bus (other than when they have major help from the defense or ST). Yeah, OSU's secondary ain't that good, but it ain't like we have some world beater passing attack like NU is running that is going to exploit the weaknesses in that secondary.
Before Saturday's games I thought that maybe if we got awful weather and heavy wind, Iowa would have had a chance to win a 13-10 dog fight behind the o-line, but now I see I drank too much Kool-Aid after the 4 cupcake victories in a row. Honestly, guys, I don't know if you should watch the game in C-bus. That Hyde kid is going to abuse us. I GUARANTEE everyone on here that when the draft comes around and they show Hyde's highlight reels, two or three of the plays will come from the Iowa game. One will be him trucking James Morris one on one (in what will become an instantly viral gif) and one will be him outrunning our safeties on a 50+ yard TD.
