UNI & Wisky Bands

I wonder if they will be at Kinnick this week and next? I got a good laugh seeing the ISU band having to walk up the Kinnick stairs to the very top NE corner section of the stadium. I did feel bad for the guys carrying the giant tuba's though, plus they had the sun beating on them late in the game when the clouds cleared.

Seems like Big 10 bands never come to Kinnick anymore, I recall N'westerns here every other year. Does Iowa's band even travel to one Big 10 stadium these day's? In the past we always went to one away game in the conference. Now it seems like only Ames.

When Muscatine was mired in a nation-leading losing streak in football (one class in the '80s actually went all four years and never won a game) we had t-shirts like this:

I have to admit, I've seen Michigan's, Wisconsin's and Ohio States in person, and they are damn good!
No matter whose band it is, I can't wait for that shit to get over with and the football started again.

Bands playing at halftime are like cursive writing. An antiquated relic with a niche hipster market.

Just my opinion, (for those of you with thin skin and weak shoulders).
