Yeah, I don't think anyone has ever viewed UNI as our Superbowl but there really isn't any reason we should an inferior program to them.
Save the Super Bowl celebration for the conference, as it is quite possible we only win one game. In general The Valley is a much better conference than it used to be. A Wichita State, Missouri State, Bradley, etc., came along every so often, but now it seems every team is pretty respectable. With that being said, it is quite telling that many will view an Iowa win as an upset.
The Valley has actually been down recently, they were much stronger in the mid 2000's. This year however, they are very strong. Creighton is probably going to end up a top 10 team, Wichita St and UNI are both very strong, and the bottom of the conference is not nearly as bad as it used to be. I could see the Valley getting three teams in this year.Save the Super Bowl celebration for the conference, as it is quite possible we only win one game. as long as they keep winning they will be in the top25lose and the top 25 ranking is history
You really think Creighton will be top 10? I agree they will be very good, just don't see the pollsters voting them in the top 10?
Yes, I think they are one of the 15 best teams in the country and thanks to being in the MVC they will end up somewhere along the lines of 29-4, and be on the back end of the top 10. Which would be a lot of fun for ISU fans. McDermott fails at ISU, leads Creighton to a top ten finish. Two Ames high schoolers both make All-American teams and neither of them do it at ISU.You really think Creighton will be top 10?
