Still don't get how we trash Northworstern on their court and ours.....and proceed to lose to them in the Big Ten Tournament last year. Complete mental collapse.

I watched the first half of UNI in the game against Stephen F Austin and said in another thread that they were better than Iowa.
And if I recall correctly they were actually down at half but I could still tell they were a quality team with some guards that created good opps for their teammates.

Our frontcourt will overwhelm UNI, beating a crappy NW team is not that impressive.

NC almost for sure. That's probably going to be a 20 pt. or more beat down.
ISU is 50/50 since it's at CHA
UNI is 50/50 as it's on a neutral court. They're pretty impressive.
Just my take, fwiw, which is probably not much.

Of all the ridiculous, disgusting losses at end of last season, the NW was the most
disheartening. Just plain ridiculous. That game probably cost the
Hawkeyes a regular seed/spot in NC2A tourney.

The dream team they have up in Cedar Falls barely beat a bad Richmond team at home today. We don't have a chance against them.
Richmond is actually a very good team but don't let facts get in your way.

Give me some "facts" that show they are very good. Was it their win over High Point or Radford? Maybe their losses to ODU or NC State really wowed you?
Ok. Maybe very good wasn't the best wording but they are a solid team and far from a bad team. Richmond's 3 losses are against teams with a total of 1 loss. ODU has wins against VCU and LSU.
What about our four wins has wowed you? Richmond would be by far our best win right now if we played them.
UNI will be a very tough game. We will probably be slight underdogs in the game.

Yesterday during the MSU - Marquette game Dick Vitale, who does know basketball despite his somewhat obnoxious delivery, said: Everybody listen to a team that you should watch this season from the Missouri Valley, I don't mean Wichita State, I'm talking about UNI. They are really good. Ben Jacobson has done a great job with this team.....

Love it when the Hawks play the second game. We watch who leaves the seats near the court after the first game, wait a while then move down. The ushers look at us but don't dare approach......
