ULM: THE OFFICIAL "WEAR GREEN FOR GREENWOOD" GAME

I know its probably easier said then done, but maybe you can have a fund where you simply donate where 100% goes to Brent. I know local banks are usually more than willing to hold the "fund". Maybe you should contact an I.C. or PV bank or Credit Union.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a little outside the bounds of what we're trying to do in this effort, as our main objective is to simply give a show of support for Brett and his family. It's sure hard to argue against your idea, though. If this were done, things would need to be cleared with the family, etc., and people a lot more knowledgeable than I would need to get involved. Turning Kinnick green on Saturday would be a great start, and who knows where the Hawkeye family's expression of support for the Greenwoods might go from there?
 
only 2 days left to order shirts guys! thanks jester my order is in finally.. jon miller was supposed to be emailing the university about this, it was mentioned on sound off saturday night, former hawkeye players are tweeting about it, emails have also been sent to a numerous media groups, from espn (adam rittenberg) to the des moines register, big ten network, etc... there has been HUGE effort by many posters over on Rivals. Can you help us out hawkeyenation!! also please JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP GUYS!

I hope this keeps snowballing and people jump on board with the idea.. it was mentioned on the radio tonight that everyone is encouraged to wear green to the game on saturday.. As of saturday night the 'wear green for greenwood' facebook group had about 52 members, right now we are 2,442 members and growing by 100 every half hour.. Keep telling your friends! GO GREEN! GO HAWKS! GO BRETT!

At 205 shirts, over $1,400 raised.
 
Unless the university was 100 percent behind this you are simply going to have a few pockets of people wearing green ... I think it is a nice idea ... but just not realistic

At 270 now. I have put a note on the site if you order now it won't be sent until Thursday. If you order before 7:00 am today it should go out tomorrow.

Thats right people. To big of a response that we can't even get them out fast enough.
 
I went on the website, planning on buying a shirt and it says the shirt is no longer available for sale. Is that true?
