Tyler Cook Gone

Wish him the best, but after the last half of a season he had I don't see a team who would pick him up. Not much of a ball handler, not much of a defender, virtually no jump shot, struggles at the free throw line. That being said.....he does have a powerful dunk shot.

You should learn more about bb.

I know some will disagree with me but I think Iowa will be just fine without him next year. I don't see an NBA player in Tyler Cook and I hope I'm wrong as it would be good for Iowa to get a player into the NBA. I think Iowa will be fine with Kreiner, Pemsl, and Garza, I'm anxious to see how much Nunge has developed.

Wish him the best.

Maybe he gets lucky and sticks with a NBA squad as a hustle/energy guy.....unlikely, but possible.

If I had to pick between Moss or Cook coming back I go with Moss. I am going to be disappointed if Moss leaves because there are viable options for the front court, but the back court really needs Moss to come back.

Iowa is looking to fill scholarships this spring that opened up with the exit of Cook and Dailey. That's not to say it will. It has to be the right fit.

I'm listening in on KGYM, comment on what you think Tyler's chances are in the NBA. He has no jump shot, not a good ball handler, he is all about scoring at the rim and is a decent rebounder. Do you see a team taking a chance on Cook in the 2nd round or will he wind up in Europe?

But he’s only about a 75% dunker. We have several players that are better than 75% from the line...and that’s 15 feet from the basket.

Several of his dunks bounced back out. Having said that I wish he was coming back. Cue the "addition by subtraction" posts.

I wish he was coming back. The team would be primed to have a good season with almost everyone returning. I can't say I'm terribly optimistic now that we're losing Cook in addition to Baer. I also have to wonder if Moss comes back now.

Does it sound like this will be it for attrition or hard to say at this point?
