One of the positives I saw saturday was Tyler looking to find open teammates. He draws a lot of attention and rightfully so, if he makes the correct pass it can lead to a lot of open shots for our team. In years past his drives often led to a charge or turnover, but he seems to be making the right decision now. TC has now led our team in assists in 4 of the 10 games.

On a team that lacks true penetrators, maybe he can provide a little bit of the drive and kick we need to set up our shooters.

Tyler is playing out of his mind so far this year. His rebounding has improved, his hustle has improved, his defense has improved, and like you said his assists are up. Its been really impressive to watch. Hopefully he can carry this into big ten play

Couple areas he still struggles with...his free throw shooting still sucks (although improved), his turnovers have increased with having the ball more, and his outside shot is still pretty bad. He could use a 4th year of improvement

More dunking less passing!!! I want to see him tear the rims down after running over two guys to get there. But no seriously he has clearly made it a point to improve his overall game and take more of what the D is giving. That's pretty much the gist of what basketball is. He's getting better at recognizing and seeing the floor. Now if he could just hit more of his free throws...

The score was about even until he got his obligatory sit down at the first foul.

Hawks got smoked by guard play and bench play. Iowa subs on the front court just don't belong. Their point could completely break down the D. On O Purdue got Cook away from basket so the pt could go.

Cook hate is sickening.

Offense wasn't the problem. No defense, not even from Cook. Any hawkeye sniffing the NBA is a joke after tonights performance.
