Both Delany and Dodds have categorically refuted the rumors and reports of talks between UT and the Big Ten. The link is amusing, as you say, but much of it is just made up.

In sports it often seems the more a rumor is denied, the more accurate it is. I don't get the interest from either side of this, but who knows. Maybe the Big 12 is going to collapse and Texas is looking out for themsleves.

Texas would be the jewel for the Big Ten expansion and this would majorly extend the reach of the Big Ten TV Network. I'm probably in the minority but I like the idea of a super conference at it starts by adding Texas in my opinion.
