Yes exactly. Not saying anyone would have done a better job yesterday on the botched FG but I would feel better if we had a QB as the holder in case we need a pass thrown. IF we ever decided to run a fake FG (I know it will never happen) it would be hard to do so with the punter throwing and you certainly can't bring on one of the QB's just for that. You might as well tell the opponents what you're about to do.I've often wondered about those same two questions. There was a lot of wisconsin fans in ic yesterday and at the game.
Typically you like the back up qb or some one with good hands that can make good decisions if you are put in that situation!!

Why did the Wisky fans have seats in the north end zone behind the goal posts? If there are any road fans there, it's usually for their band. I wonder if the Wisky band was originally supposed to come and didn't for some reason? If so, those seats should have came back to the U of I to be sold to our fans.
I have never seen that happen before, and I didn't like it one bit.
1. Why does Iowa put visiting fans so close to the field rather than up in the top corners somewhere?
2. Why do we have our punter as the place holder for FG and PAT's?
