Why did we not call two plays in the huddle prior to the fourth and one at the end of the game.
Here is my thinking. You call the sneak and also a fade or out pattern.
It would go like this
QB sneak to get the first down
Line up quickly while the chains are being reset
Fake the QB spike and either do a fade or an out to get you in possible field goal range or better.
Still probably time for a play before kicking the field goal if needed since you have a timeout left.
Maybe I am way off on this, but it is what was going through my head before we got the first down on that play. I still think that it is a good idea.
