Two deeps for Maryland; Jake Duzey back

Curious on Jordan, gonna need him, hope he's back and 100% for Indiana. Ike will be important for the home stretch as well. Run blocking and protecting CJ is paramount.

Really hope LD looks good and strong with clean cuts.

Power running will be important in both of the next 2 games.

Canzeri still out. Be good to see Akrum get another 200 yard game.

Well, let's see, according to the 'experts' NW defense is very good and
Akrum Wadley TORCHED the kittykats for 225 yards and 4 TD's in 3 quarters.

I think he could go for 300 and 5 against the Twerps.

LMAO !!!

Hold onto the ball Wadley.

Surprised Daniels is 3rd if healthy, but I don't think he reads the holes very well based on the few healthy runs he has gotten this year.

Let's ease up on Akrum, the BIG10 Player of the week.

4 TD's and over 225 yards in 3 quarters.

That was an awesome performance by A Wadley!!!

The thing that is impressive to me about that 2 deeps is that out of the 49 players listed 17 are seniors of which only 11 are listed as starters. 7 on offense and 4 on defense. This team is young and they are 7-0. If this season ends up with 10 or 11 wins and a possible trip to the Rose Bowl. A recruiting jack-pot could be in store for the next few years. IMO the future looks very bright.

I count five starting seniors on offense: Blythe, Hillyer, Plewa, T. Smith & Walsh. Likewise, I count only three on defense: Fisher, Lomax & Meier.

I counted the kickers but I'm still off by one. I stand corrected. Future looks even better.

Anybody else somewhat concerned that the offense may struggle a bit with Daniels at RB and we give him more carries when in my opinion it needs to be Wadley?

I think the combination of Wadley and LeShun could be good with a bit of a combo of size and speed but I just hope Wadley gets plenty of touches.

What? Wadley is first team. Daniels is third team. What are you talking about? Did you even look at the depth chart?

What ???
Daniels now appears to be the 3rd string running back and that's ONLY if Jordan C is out.

I'd guess Jordan Canzeri and his determination won't be out very long.

Wadley, Mitchell, Daniels - 1, 2 or 3? That issue pales to the question - What is the status of Beathard's health? He is the beginning, middle and end to the continued success of the Hawkeyes this year.

We will be very glad to have LD back as the season goes along...we do have 5 games left and wearing down the defenses we face will remain a crucial element. This is nothing against Akrum or Mitchell; but, you better have 2 or 3 RB's ready to go at all times. Remember also the "hot hand" theory.

I thought I read somewhere that Daniels was #1 on the depth chart. Now having gone back and looked at the depth chart, perhaps what I read was in reference to Lil Big Daniels.

My bad.

Daniels looked good when he was healthy. This might be a great game to get him some reps so that he can get back into the swing of things.

Maryland has a terrible defense. Iowa could score points on them blindfolded.
