I agree. Face value, I'd say the two he turned down have more brand equity in BB than Iowa.
Especially, since he's always been an East coaster.

The reason St. John's is being turned down so much is their compliance department makes it nearly impossible to deal with the people you MUST deal with to recruit NYC. No reason to take a St. John's job if you can't recruit NYC.
Seton Hall has an AD that no coach wants to work for.
I think most coaches would see Iowa as a better job than St. Johns or Seton Hall due to those reasons alone.

Isn't Seton Hall's AD the dean of the law school, Pat Hobbs? Seton Hall hasn't been relevant since Carlesimo (sp) was there ages ago.
