Trump supporters, how do you square this?

Both economies will suffer, it's all stupid unless you have so much advantage it means nothing to you and you could bend a country to do what you want them to do. I'm with Canada, US is garbage under Trump, and trying to bully all but Russia it seems. All he says about Canada is lies, and he is the one who "fixed" the trade agreement last time in office. Trump should blame himself if he doesn't like it, it's his agreement that he is wining about, place tariffs for but we all know he would never ever under any circumstance accept responsibility for anything. One place I can assure you Trump will never bully, only cow to is Putin's dictatorship.

Yes, MAGA has been very clear and consistent in their messaging that the Deep State (LOL) is actually the lifetime civilian federal workforce, that they are currently firing and vilifying.

I would expect all MAGA loyalists to be able to parrot this important MAGA talking point (and fantasy).

I would encourage all of us to do some reading about tariffs and trade wars, including how they've worked historically, their effect on economic growth or contraction, their effect on consumption, and overall buying power of citizens on both sides of the equation.

I've looked at several wonky websites that deal with these macroeconomic issues, and there don't appear to be a ton of huge supporters of trade wars or tariffs, as it is such a blunt instrument. Targeted tariffs may make sense, but most (high majority) of economists are extremely pessimistic about the effects of tariffs on an economy.

We do have some history with tariffs.

Some of those folks aren't too bright, sadly. Trump famously said "I love the uneducated" and he was being serious. They are easily fooled.

I read that. I see it all. I have already seen everything that Hay man links. Elon has said after that story that they have evidence dead people are cashing checks. Sure it could possibly be a lie. But so could the COBOL excuse. I don't believe either story 100%.

Weren't the felony arrests for crimes committed before Jan 6th? I know at least one was and I'm pretty sure both that I saw were. It's possible I saw the same story twice tho.

Some people have been arrested after they were pardoned. Criminals still bein' criminals.

Don't even get me started on the leadership of the Proud Boys, Oaf Keepers, and the like... dirtbags.

Correct but weren't the crimes they got arrested for committed before Jan 6th? I know for sure one was. Another was where they came back and arrested a guy for having a gun that they found while searching his apartment after Jan 6th. So that one wasn't really a new crime. It was one they found while investigating for the Jan 6th crime. But either way, how many people were there again? Show me a crowd that size and ill show you at least a couple bad people in it. That's just the odds playing out.
