Trump supporters, how do you square this?

Showing the girl who got a concussion from a Transgender...like, that kid couldn't have got a concussion from playing with another girl? Unfortunately, concussions are a part of sports and that can happen no matter who you are competing against. Up until 3 years ago, girls wrestled the boys in Iowa. How did women get the freedom to have their own sports to begin with? You guessed it, by playing with boys. Who do the Iowa girls practice against every day, oh yeah, right, boys. There are approx. 5 transgender cases nationwide at the HS level. 5, not 50, not 500, 5. There are about 10 transgenders trying to compete out of 500,000 college athletes at the NCAA level. Leading you to realize that this isn't a problem at a national level, it's not even really a problem at the state level. In every case of the 15 I describe above, they are being litigated and protested and stopped. So, why would this even be something that our President even acknowledges when we have such real problems facing our country. It's to please his base, get a headline on ESPN and help marginalize these people's existence and way of life. To help demonizing them. This is another kid we're talking about, not a monster. I played sports with girls almost every day of my life growing up. This just isn't the issue that most people think it is. They call fouls in sports and your kid isn't going up against a polar bear.

I say all of this, and I am actually FOR separated boys and girl's sports. I just don't think its a matter that should attract the level it is currently attracting. If there are so few cases, let it be handled on a case by case basis.

I'm 50/50 on agreeing and disagreeing. My rebuttals are nothing is ever a problem until it affects you, and the situation is getting worse, not better. Overall tho, right now you're right that it isn't a huge problem. But man would I be pissed if that was my daughter.

There are more cases of measles in Texas alone than there is transgenders in sports fyi. It's all distractions. There is no substance with these people.

Yeah, again, it's just 2 kids facing off against each other in a sanctioned sport with referee's. My daughter would live, and I'd have a lot of compassion for the boy she was facing. So would my daughter and she'd want that other kid to have the opportunity to participate in sports and the same freedoms she has.

These new people in charge aren't Republicans. They are something, but they aren't traditional Republicans.
Here's a few thoughts:
1. They are isolationist and anti-free trade.
2. They align closely with Russia and other authoritarian dictators.
3. They turn their backs on NATO and W Europe.
4. They are all about big government stifling free speech and protests that they don't agree with.
5. They align with, and support, those that attacked the Capitol and injured police officers.

Do these folks sound like traditional Republicans? Conversely, do they sound like Fascists?

No one is stopping the transgender from participating in sports. This whole issue can be cleared up so easily. Transgenders give everyone an easy solution with their own words. They say biological sex and gender are two different things. Just say sports and bathrooms are separated by biological sex, not gender. Problem solved. No clue why it's never said.

They sound like the same people our ancestors fought and died in attempting to and succeeded in defeating in WW2. Not GOP MAGA. Not Americans, Trumpers. Not democracy, fascists.

Everyone fears for school shootings too. They just have differing opinions on how to help minimize them. People like to say the right doesn't care about school shootings because the right doesn't think taking away guns will make a difference. I'm not sure if they misunderstand the issue or they are purposely misleading. It's probably a little of both.

I also showed that they clearly don't only hurt the country that implements them. Otherwise Canada wouldn't retaliate by hurting his own country. Clearly they hurt the country that receives the tarrifs too.

That is an extremely misleading headline compared to what he actually says. They asked him to respond to China saying they are ready for any war the US wants. He said we are prepared for any war but we don't want it and Trump has a great relationship with the Chinese president.
