Troubling Attrition In 2013 Class

it always SEEMS we have a TON of attrition from our classes. But always wondered if this was par-for-the-course, as Iowa is the only program I really follow that deeply. Anyone know how our long-term attrition compares to other P5 schools?

Attrition happens. Honestly, it looks to me like most of the players that are no longer here weren't seeing the field. It's one thing if your starters are leaving, but many of them have left because they were being passed up by others.

Hold on here, are we sure Randolfo is Iowalaw? God that Iowalaw was such a doucher. Well not only a doucher, but an idiot as well. I mean you got your smart douchers, but then you got your idiot douchers like Iowalaw. I guess this post would match up nicely for Iowalaw, as only he would complain about a recruiting class that contained a Thorpe award winner, and some of the biggest contributors to the 2015 season.

this thread is practically identical to one by iowalaw on rivals.

Is it a coincidence that guys were passed over by walk-ons before they left.

I have heard of DW on some of the other boards and twitter feeds I follow, he could have a big year at Tech. He may have needed a change in scenery, probably best for the team and DW.

So if we look at the 2013 class player rankings and follow up with high attrition rate it looks very bad.

If we look only at results on the field it looks very good.

What matters? This is a no brainer man.
