Tropical Storm Hermine

The NWS expects the remnants of Hermine to reach eastern Iowa by Thursday night and push out by Friday. Right now they are calling for dry conditions Saturday afternoon. And for the person who said Hermine would be mostly drizzle, think again. 2-4" of rain is possible from this storm if it hits the IC area directly.

It rained torrentially all day here on the north side of Austin. The 24 hour total was 7.59 inches, and it's still drizzling a little.

Latest forecast has not changed much, 1-4 Inches of rain for the area with skies clearing in the afternoon following the passage of a cold front Saturday morning. Highs will be in the upper 70's to around 80 or so.

What part of north Austin? Here in Lakewood we've received 10 inches since it started, with almost 12 inches just a bit north in at the LCRA's Jollyville site.

Oh, and last night I no longer had a front yard, but instead a pond.

Sorry for the late reply; I forgot to check my subscribed threads last night and this morning.

I live relatively close to Jollyville. The NWS website said (at the time of my posting) that their Jollyville site registered 7.59" on Tuesday (the 7th). As you know, though, it continued to rain through the night and sporadically yesterday, so I'm sure it's much more than that at this point. Some of the flooding in Round Rock and Georgetown was insane.
