Did he ever. It was pretty much accidental. The story of his mom half joking about reclassifying to come now when she didn't even know that was a thing is pretty funny. Ben was like well yeah if his academics are in order it's most definitely possible. Ben didn't bring it up first like some in the recruiting world all seemed to have assumed. That said going forward he very well might...

Purdue I think is the most butt hurt over it they'd been recruiting him quite awhile and thought they had him.
