Tremendous Clutch Win by Iowa

I attended the game today in the Big House. Record crowd; loud as heck; lots of emotion in the stands; Michigan's homecoming and they were JACKED UP; 7-0 deficit for Iowa; fast, talented Michigan receivers; etc. etc.

Everything was stacked against Iowa.

And still we found a way.

What a great victory.

I think the renovation has definitely improved the noise factor for Michigan. I went to the game in 2006 and you would never believe 110,000 fans could be a relative non-factor. It sounded much louder on TV today and your post confirms it. Tough environment and I was very excited for the Hawks to get the win. Any win in Ann Arbor is a good one.

I was there in 2006 as well and agree with your comment about the lack of intimidating noise factor. But I thought it was just because the seats were so lacked together that nobody could take a full breath to yell.

I would agree was at the game and best environment I have see at UM. So great victory for Hawks for sure.
