Travel Conditions for Game Tonight

Has anyone been on I-80 between Newton and ICity in the last couple hours? Just wondering what Interstate is like, hoping to make it to game tonight but it won't stop stinking snowing down south of 80. If anyyone is out soon, keep us posted on this thread if you happen to be on any highways in the next couple hours. I assume feedback could help some folks in knowing what time to leave. Don't trust state website, it always says its worse than it is. Thanks!

We are coming on highway 20 and 380. DOT website says partially covered but it seems they have been improving throughout the day. Don't know about to the south although I have heard it is worse than it is up here in the north.
 


Register reporter Rick Brown tweeted that I-80 eastbound is just wet and vehicles were travelling at normal speed.

That is good news and exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thanks a lot. Will be on HWY 14 for awhile and it appears just wet right now too. Gotten over 10" down south so far.
 


I live in CR and work in Coralville. Roads are wet as they've been all day but this dang snow won't stop. If the temp drops at all it could get a little hairy.

Wet normal wet weather driving conditions. I.C. Got way less snow than central Iowa. newton got 11 inches but it is on the warm side. Phone says its 34 degrees. This snow wont last long.
