Torrey Campbell

I have to say... I closed my initial post in a non-committal fashion asking whether to read into anything into what was said. The answer has proven to be no. Accordingly, I'd like to take this time to say, "My bad."

I would like to say that I'm sorry to all members of the media, coaches, and especially to Torrey Campbell for any confusion, embarrassment, and inconvenience I may have caused. I was bored and was originally intending to merely pose a question, and I accept full blame if things spiraled out of control. I guarantee that by no means am I any sort of credible source regarding any recruit. So once again, my bad.

Its football in Florida. How much better tier can you get than that. I mean you have texas but thats about it.

California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania but yeah, point taken. They guy looked the part, and it wasn't because he was playing vs. the Sanborn Bulldogs.

Huh??

If he wants to go to the next level he needs to commit to Iowa, where he will get the best possible preparation for an extremely successful career in the NFL.

True. Furthermore, Iowa has experienced great coaching continuity ... so he doesn't have to worry about turnover on the coaching staff either. Also, Iowa has one of the best strenght and conditioning programs in the nation and that plays a HUGE role in player development. Lastly, Iowa has a great team that should be in the national championship picture, at least off and on, through the coming years!

However, on the flip side, Iowa would be a LONG way from home for the young man. Furthermore, Campbell has to do his homework and also find the school that provides him with a great academic fit too.

I sincerely hope that the young man ends up choosing Iowa ... but I also want Iowa to be "the right fit" for him too.

Iowa is certainly a good place to go if you were a RB, CB or Safety - that has proven out several times over the past few years.

Add that to the OL that Iowa has year in, year out, it would have to make a guy seriously think about running behind them in this offense.
