Did Torrey commit? Marc Morehouse re-tweeted one of his posts, which said "Want to commit?? But where??"

...so I checked out Torrey's page (www.twitter.com/TorreyCamp), and Marcus Grant told him to commit to Iowa, and another person did the same, to which Campbell replied "thanks i just might have too..."

Not entirely sure if this means anything...

When he says "thanks I just might have to...", I hope he meant that tongue-in-cheek and not that he would choose Iowa just because he felt like he didn't have any other options. Those type of commits, this early in the game, are likely to go elsewhere by signing day.

If this kid commits wow. That is what you call speed that you don't find around here.

Here's another video from his junior year. The previous one is from is sophomore year.

Look at the power displayed around the 55 second mark. This kid is unbelievable.

Man..there were some angles of pursuit that I didn't think he could outrun, but he did. More likely a CB?

If this kid gained some weight he could play running back!!!! Reminds me of Fred Russel, in the scat back mold. He would be great addition. :) TORREY CAN DO IT ALL, HOPE TO SEE HIM IN THE BLACK AND GOLD SOON!!!!!

5'11 175# - I bet he could easily put on 20# with that frame. As Jon said, his ability to outrun people to the edge and then up the field was really fun to watch. Guy looks like a RB to me.

Two words, Emmit Smith. TC seems to have that same ability to make last second moves to avoid the big hit and slide forward for additional yardage.

He shows great speed against his high school competition. I know Naples is a decent sized city, but does anyone know what class his team plays in? I'm not familiar enough with Florida to know if a 3A as an example is mid level range or the top tier. If someone knows the answer please provide it in an answer for dummies format so I can understand what it means.

Certainly his posted 40 time is fast, and he looks very quick in the videos. I would have expected the defenses to be at least closer to his speed at the top levels or this could actually be one of those rare 40 times that are for real.

Its football in Florida. How much better tier can you get than that. I mean you have texas but thats about it.

Barron collier is a football powerhouse in southwest florida, there is no lack of competition in any game this kid plays in I can guarantee that. Lots of d 1 talent on the teams in this conference year in and year out

Id call 3a mid level, highest is 6a , there is 1a 1b 2a 2b 3a 4a 5a 6a ... I believe barron collier plays 5a and if I had to guess their enrollment would be around 1600-2000. 6a is made up mostly of teams from ft lauderdale, miami, orlando, tampa, jax, tallahassee lakeland

I noticed that he just started following my twitter account, and I looked at who he follows...the only ties to any college programs I could see was Iowa..he is following Eric Johnson and the Iowa football page.
