I want OU to lose and all but assure us the #3 slot should we win....but I DO NOT want OU to lose if it means OSU getting in....especially without having to even play in the Big 10 Championship Game. I will have to hide my gun and avoid all alcohol if that happens. It's bad enough that they are trying to do everything they can to shoehorn N. Dame in there....but OSU and those white trash arrogant fans would be more than I could take. I'd sooner cheer for the NY Yankees to win every World Series for the next 50 years before I'd ever cheer for OSU in any sport, anytime, and under any circumstances.

No question. It sucks Michigan didn't bring it today.......not even a competitive defeat. I thought the thugs from Ohio would roll over, but they brought it. Unfortunately, the Bucks are still going to factor into the things and they have their cheerleader Herby to endorse them along.

The thing is if we want the Rose as a fall back in the event MSU beats us, we will probably need Ohio St to get into the playoffs. If not, then OSU just hangs around and potentially steals that bid from us if they don't get in.
Kind of pick your poison. Of course, if Iowa keeps winning then we don't have to worry about anybody...only who we play.
O$U had better not steal the mo effing Rose bid from the Hawks should it come to that. I'll personally head to OH with all my Hawk friends and burn that hole to the ground.....

I'm at the point where I don't care about scenarios anymore. I'm all in. It's playoff or nothing for me right now. Emotionally I just can't get up for a consolation. It's taken too long to get this far, I'm on the final brief case and the million dollars is still in play. I would have jumped at that $410k at the beginning of the game but I'm too caught up to be sensible.

It would make me sick to my stomach as well if it happened. OSU would not have even won its own division and did not even make it to the Big Ten Title Game. Iowa has beaten more teams that have been ranked throughout the year (2 on the road Wisco, Northwestern, 1 at home Pitt) as compared to Ohio St (1 win at Michigan).
Ohio St could make the argument they have the better "single game win" beating a higher ranked Michigan compared to our wins against Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Pitt. But, I would also argue our win at Northwestern could be considered just as impressive with Northwestern beating Stanford. Also, Michigan now has 3 losses and will not be in the top 10. Stanford would stay in the top 10 with a win against Notre Dame.
But, because Ohio St was ranked so high to begin the year,because they did not drop very far after the MSU loss, and because Baylor fell....they can just sit back and slide right in if that is what the Rose Bowl wants. And the Rose has said they will likely select the highest ranked team and the media is just waiting to punish Iowa for a loss....which the committee could put Iowa lower than Ohio St with a loss to MSU.
Iowa would be more deserving, but the Rose could snub us. Hope not. So, we really need to get 2 Big Ten teams in the playoffs.
Oklahoma St needs to get its head out of its *** and win tonight. So far, Oklahoma running all over them.
