Iowa has even had good attendance in its down periods in the mid 1930s, 1940s, and through the great football drought of the late 60's and 70s.

The fact that they allowed wine botas into Kinnick in the good old days may have had something to do with that!

Mostly blue bloods on that list (except for Nebraska of course ). It's good to be mentioned along with those schools no matter what the reason.
