This should be posted on the Nebraska board...oh wait...they would somehow say it was wrong...they were being victims of a conspiracy...who cares we are still the best program in the country...and the list goes on.
Again, do you guys just make stuff up to attempt to show some credence to your obsession? The lies and innuendo you make up are astounding. Pretty much delusional. Most Nebraska fans understand that since 2002, we have fallen off the national radar to some extent. I can’t figure out if it’s hilarious or deeply disturbing that your identity as “football fans” hinge on a team (Nebraska) that your team has only played about 6 times in the past 30 years, and your “greatest victory or memory” is a win you had 30 years ago that didn’t even result in a championship of any kind. You still won't be able to convince many Nebraska fans the Huskers are average the past 10 years even while playing in a mediocre B12 North. Michigan fans can accept the truth, and believe they will change it (and rightfully so). Neb fans don't even believe they have been largely irrelevant the past decade as it relates to the national scene.
I’m not sure how these numbers were calculated or exactly what they mean, but keep in mind, this is our worst 10 year stretch since before the mid 60’s. Don't fool yourselves into thinking that the quality of football in the Big 10 (with the exception of tOSU) is that much better than that of the Big 12 North.
We are not where we want to be or should be, but in the past couple of years, we are creeping back up to that level. I’ll certainly take 5 National Championships in the Modern Era and 8 or 9 years of recent irrelevance as opposed to an entire history of irrelevance, i. e. the entire history of all of the Division 1 collegiate football teams in the state of Iowa.
I've heard some of the horror stories, but I'm beginning to wonder if all Big 10 football fans are this bad?
