Tony Dungy's interesting comments about Bill Belichek

Dungy prior to Saturday's Patriots playoff game was saying how Belichek always has a few wrinkles ready for each game and uses them. Remember when he went for it on 4th and about 5 from his own 30 at Indy in the playoffs, that was crazy.

So even though KF is from the Belichek and Fry coaching trees KF does not throw out too many new wrinkles, KF is the anti-Fry as you know.

And wasnt that a great wrinkle Belichek used over the weekend with the hurry up in combination with only 4 offensive linemen and a fullback reported as eligible receiver and lined up at left tackle, and another receiver lined up as ineligible in the right slot because he was covered up up by the split end.

If KF would show a little offensive variety I might not be so bored out of my socks that I am ready to give up season tickets.

I'm not sure what you mean, regarding kfootball offensive variety. Heck, several times he even ran MW up the middle. For crying out loud, they even threw a screen pass to him, once. :p

Yeah I think using your fullback as your featured running back is quite the wrinkle. In fact, its such a great wrinkle that Ferentz used it for 3 straight years.

KF IS the anti-Belichek. Belichek is a coaching genius...every game completely different gameplan, factoring his and opponents personnel. KF= doe same thing both sides of ball, every game, every year, in spite of opponent, talents, trends etc. The most boring, un-inspired football on any and every given Saturday or Sunday.
