Sounds like there will be tix available at the box office. Will scalpers be selling for more than those? What is the univ tix price?

Right now every ticket from the university can be bought for $65.00 I believe.

I got 4 together on the 30 yard line, row 10. $65/ticket. Lots of great seats still available. I'd just buy them thru hawkeyesports.com and print them at home.
The scalpers were trying to sell Illinois St tickets for $30-40. The scalpers were only willing to pay $5-10 bucks for a ticket on the street.
Demand might be a little higher after the victory over the clowns.
I would not pay $65 or even $50 for a scalped ticket. Probably $40 tops as the scalpers wont pay squat to get the tickets.
the scalpers are idiots but one called me an idiot before the first home game.
I had one ticket to sell, even for 10-20 bucks, and I asked a one scalper how much he was selling and he said '30'.
So the next scalper I offered him my one ticket for $10 and he said he would give me $5. So I said no I would just give it away.
The scalper said ok I will give you $10 but I said no I would just give it away.
And he called me an idiot, but he was and is an idiot.
And I also just gave the ticket away to a gal and she went in with her guy friend.

I don't understand the scalpers. Is it worth the effort for them? The game is not a sellout, so I don't get it....

Scalpers serve a great purpose. For those who are POOR planners, or want to go to Game,on a
Whim, they fill the demand. They SHOULD be paid exactly what the market, at that time, for that game will bear.
