Tommy Schutt-DT Glenbard (IL) West

UM has 6 DL commits this class and three coming in from 2011. Looks like UM is done with DL recruiting. Danny O'Brien and Tommy Schutt are one the table. Hope we can grab at least one of them.

Michigan has a ridiculous number of guys who project on the OL committed too.

I find it intriguing that they shut the door on guys like O'Brien and Schutt ... and yet they're keeping a spot open for Diamond.

Homer, you think this will rush the choice of Diamond? He sees players around him getting their slots filled and could cause him to commit early. I know us hawk fans hope he trusts UM with hold him a scholly and then screw him out of one. I could really see diamond feeling the pressure and committing soon.

There's a five star in Arizona and several others UM has the remaining one open OL scholarship for. So, wouldn't be surprised if Diamond(like his tweet suggested)committed to UM quickly. Then again, he may feel he'd rather play at Iowa or someplace else and not concern himself with the UM offer. His teammate, close friend, and class of 2011 UM OL, Chris Bryant, is there, and Diamond grew up a UM fan so it's likely he ends up in A2 but, we'll see how this ends plays out. Obviously, the longer he delays the better for non-UM schools.

Tommy Schutt commits to PSU per 247 Sports.

We weren't likely to get him anyway.

I'd say the top DT DT/DE types were in on are O'Brien, Lohn, Ekakitiate(sp?), and Valentine. Lohn, the most likely possibility.

Barf...

Why do so many kids commit to play for that old geezer...

luckily most look at more than just what happens on the field otherwise all our recruits would be going to Northwestern.
