Appears he has passed away.
I'd listen to it. I wonder what stories Jon Miller may have of him if any. Not sure if they ever spoke besides on the air or not.WHO should compile a "best of". It would require an introduction for sure.
That's sad. True blue hawk fan. RIPAppears he has passed awa
Yeah he never held back on his thoughts at all. He was as critical as he was supportive for sure. I think I heard he used to coach kids back in the day. I can't say if he coached football or what sport. But he was involved with kids and was extremely beloved. His analysis was pretty good most of the time, IMHO. He called it the way he saw it. Negative at times, but usually accurate.
He will be missed. He and Hayden had a great relationship. If there was a hall of fame for callers, he would be in it.

To me it's nostalgic in a way because he went hand in hand with listening to the post game shows. Or any coaches call in show. Throughout my teenage years and early adulthood I listened to a boat load of radio which was in the 90s and early 00s. He called in a ton and everyone who listened to those shows for 15 mins of their life I'm sure heard Tommy.
Amen means we are getting older too... Time it just keeps going on.I certainly miss the Zabel era. The radio dominated in many ways. As a famous novel said: "A way of life.....Gone with the Wind."
I haven’t listened to any shows in a long time. Did he still call in in recent years?
