I was somewhat surprised that GG was still ranked in the top 20.

IF he was wrestling as well as he ended last year I'd put him in the 5-8 range, same category as Loder, Steinhaus and Ihnen.

pin - there's no time left to drop down. If he started immediately after the last dual (assuming he weighed in ~197) then the soonest would be the final dual vs Wisconsin. That wouldn't leave much time to get accustomed to the weight and get many matches in save nat'l duals and the B1G tourney. We might as well accept it and hope for this best.

Also, I noticed his body during the OSU dual and it wasn't flattering. He looked "puffy" and I didn't notice much muscle tone. I'm giving Brands the benefit of the doubt and blaming the concussion. I don't think he'd let Gambrall get away with this if it wasn't a medical issue.

Huh? I'm assuming you're asking who would the 197 be if he moved down? I'm guessing Thomas Lira. Not sure what is better for duals, 2 medicre wrestlers with Wagner and GG or move GG down and have one good and one bad with GG and Lira. At least for Nationals we need GG down.
