Dienhart: Let's look at the week ahead « Big Ten Network

Don’t overlook this game: Indiana at Michigan, Feb. 1. A big “prove-it” game for the Hoosiers, who have lost four of their last six. Know this: Tom Crean is 2-30 on the road in Big Ten games. A big road victory over a solid Wolverine team would do wonders for Indiana’s sagging psyche. Michigan is really good at home and is in search of revenge after falling 73-71 earlier this year at Indiana.

Yikes, the Franster already has 3. Maybe we are backer.:)

Oh, and both of those wins for Crean were at PSU.

God please do not let Crean get his 3rd (or 4th in the event they beat Purdue) on February 19th.

amen

i will repeat the 2 wins are against PSU, and to think Crean has all that talent

Indiana still has a lot of problems:

1. Zeller isn't Jesus as their fanbase thinks, he is a darn good player, but still a freshman that struggles against physical defenders something Iowa is not (I was at the game last night and Morgan manhandled him).

2. Thier defense is about as good as Iowa's on many nights.

3. No proven scorer, one can argue Zeller, but see number one.

4. They don't have as much talent as what some want to believe. Their bench is very weak, that will change next year however. Maurice Creek having every injury imaginable has really hurt their depth as well.

5. Sheehey/Olidipo started the season hot, but have really cooled since conference play started, not really a surprise.

Indiana is on their way back, but they still have their issues. The good for them is that Hulls/Watford/Zeller come back, their best players and they have pieces coming in that they don't have today.

With Mel back and improving and Bryce playing some D, not to mention the recent loss that is not "lost" on the Hawks...

i suspect that Indiana will need to play out of their minds to win at Carver Hawkeye later this season.
