I'm going to go with A-rob, with DJK a close second. Robinson continues to impress. The guy is rock solid.
Agree. Flip a coin.
I love that football is a TEAM game and Iowa has a great TEAM.![]()
Also love that Arob gave credit to the offensive line in the radio interview after the game. Both ARob and DJK deserve it today.I'm going to go with A-rob, with DJK a close second. Robinson continues to impress. The guy is rock solid.

Tyler Sash's two first half returns, on the interception and the field goal, were huge. Both led to touchdown drives.
Good points. What was everyone's take on Stanzi today? Thought he threw the ball really well today, but seemed to make some mental mistakes (couple audibles and taking a 5yd loss out of bounds instead of throwing the ball away when there was no pressure).
17-24 for 247 with 3 TDs and no picks. He was never sacked (and only pressured once or twice). Yes, I noticed the errors you mentioned, but making those audibles on the road can't be mentioned. The key stat for Ricky is that we scored all 5 times in the end zone, and 4 of those were touchdowns. You can't ask for more than that.
Well put. Do you know where he was going on that third down late in the fourth when we are around the 12yd line? Was trying to figure out if it was a mix up or he was trying to just get rid of it.
No idea, but my heart almost stopped when I saw that ball flutter up there.

It looked like Reisner was coming across the middle and got held up by two Michigan defenders so Rick was probably trying to throw it in the area where he should have been. That is my guess anyway.
The game ball has to go to DJK for his 3 td's and break Tim Dwight's record.
I think he played a very poor game by his standards. It doesn't jump out like a pick 6 but he made some very poor decisions like the ones you mentioned. Also, I'm hoping that from here on out if he has time and the reciever has 2-3 steps on the d-back he can hit him instead of throwing it up in the clouds and underthrowing it.
Just glad that we could win and hopefully he plays sharper next week. Cause if he doesn't we'll lose..
I hate to break it to you, but we're not going to get any better production out of our quarterback than we got today. 17-24 for 247, 3 TDs, no picks no times sacked. He missed a few audibles, but he also changed into several great plays.
I hope you're joking. If not, you are going to be VASTLY disappointed the rest of the season.
