To Sleep Or Not To Sleep?

I'm in a situation. If I stay up to watch the game I'll get so worked up, regardless of outcome, that I won't sleep at all. If I just skip it and try to go to bed at my normal time, my brain will be running a marathon of what if's and I probably won't sleep well either.
Thoughts? Anyone with me in this dilemma?

With the exception of a family emergency, I could never not watch a hawkeye football game...let alone sleep man!

That sounds cruel to do to yourself!!

I am. Gotta wake up around 7am for work the next day, and regardless of the outcome I won't be able to sleep. However, there's no way I could sleep during the game, so I'm just going to suck it up and hope to get a lot of sleep Sunday night before school the next day.

Sash, you better stay up, we need you back there!!!! LOL

Yeah, think I'll stay up and suffer the consequences tomorrow. I'd take a lot of heat from my Hawk friends if I called it a night early.

What's going on tomorrow? Count me as not with you in your dilemma.

I can't believe this is even a serious question. I've been like a kid on X-mas eve just waiting all day for this game and couldn't imagine going to bed and missing it.

yeah, i guess its just that i'm getting older and sleeping in isn't an option with a 18 month old. i'll try and nap when she's napping tomorrow.

How is this even a situation? Its a ******* iowa game....there are only 13 of them

I couldn't sleep during this game if my life depended on it. How can that possibly even be a option?

I cant sleep the night before a game...let alone the actual game. If the game started at 3 AM I would be forced to stay up through the night

I have a feeling posting this "dilemma" on message board where the most hardcore fans reside will not be met with much agreement
