Time to Think About a New OC!

If Charlie Strong gets run out Texas.......It is basically the Baylor system, they spread you out to run the football, wide gaps, then attack you with the deep vertical passing game. It is a run based spread attack.

I realize everyone would be thrilled to have another Texas OC that was ran out of Texas. It is not going to happen I just want a participation ribbon from Seepig for throwing someone's name out there.:)

At the risk of calling abuse down on myself, I nominate Icky for the following reasons.

1. He will pay KF to do it, which would be a gain of $600,000 plus to help with KF's buy out.

2. He knows everything about football.

3. We will know what is on his mind.

4. We will know who the players are that aren't very good.

5. He has a lead on recruiting Iowa HS football players from 1 town..

6. He can't be worse.

7. It would be more entertaining that what we have now.

Email KF right away. Michigan is today.
 
Powerball is up to like 260million. I encourage everyone to go buy a few tickets. If you win, you have to cover the buy-out for Ferentz, and maybe throw an extra 10mil at the U Prez to send Barta packing as well. I'm willing to commit to that. You'll still have more than enough money to setup your great-great-great grandkids for life.
 
The time to start thinking this was 4 years ago. If you're looking for names we have an assistant junior high girls basketball coach who would be an upgrade over Greg Davis. I can give him a call if you think he has a chance.

I wouldn't venture to put out a real name unless KF shocked the world and did something different in his routine.

Tony Franklin at MTSU has the offense humming.
He was at Cal with Jared Goff.
Of course, his 1 year at Auburn, in 2008, was a disaster, and was let go, after one year.
Kurt should've done the same thing with GD in 2012, but that's water over/under the bridge.

I find it tough to see Iowa get another OC, from another P5 school that moves the ball.
