So much of this game hangs on the offense. Iowa's defense can hold the Badgers to under 20 points but that may not mean much if the Badgers are getting touchdowns and the Hawkeyes are settling for field goals.

The defense holding them to under 20 is contingent on the offense not having a half dozen consecutive three and outs or 5 play drives with one first down each. If we go out and have our typical three and out, followed by one sustained drive, followed by a half dozen drives that yield a total of 38 net yards, the defense will be a sieve by the start of the 4th quarter and Wisconsin will put up 17 in the 4th alone.
