No more excuses about confidence, weight, injuries, getting enoug reps, etc. The team needs to man up Tuesday night and take care of business. I hope to see Iowa come out jacked up and be the aggressor without the 6:00+ minute mental lapses that result in turnovers and poor defense.
Dayton has athletes and they will come to play. This game, IMO, will define the season. Can we win a big game? Did we deserve the bid? Maybe a little po'd for getting a 7 seed? I don't care what motivates them, but I hope we don't see 4 guys standing around hoping Gatens goes for 30.
I have 4 neighbors committed to going and 4 others "pending" (first game of the season for all), so I am not being critical of the team, just stating that they need to mature and show up Tuesday night for 40 minutes.
