Tim Tebow = Vince Young

Listen, I think Newton is good. I think he has a bright future at QB. Same as Andy Dalton. I also think that winning football games is all that matters and Tebow does that. And yet some still hate on him. Wait until he gets better. If he is an average thrower than he will be a great QB.

Young and Tebow are great comparisons. Both just win.

Holy **** you are dense. Young doesn't win. He quits.

Vince Young Quits On The Titans During Their 17-10 Win Over The Jaguars | NFL | Tennessee Titans

He is?

Don't get me wrong, Newton is very talented and fun to watch, but he 2-8 and he has nice talent around him. Yet Vin hates Tim Tebow who is 4-1 with ZERO talent around him.

I love him on my fantasy team! Guys throws 4 picks.... yet I end up with 29 fantasy points....

Young doesn't win? He won in college and he has won in the NFL. Check out his record. And he did it on some really bad Titans teams. Hell 2 years ago the Titans were 0-6 with Collins and Young came in and went 8-2. The guy does win. To argue otherwise is arguing against facts

I like how you say Tebow wins.... No, it's a team effort and I would really attribute Denver's newfound success to the great defense they have been receiving. Tebow isn't wining crap unless the defense doesn't keep the game close. Why did Tebow not win when Detroit was waxing them by 30 points? Oh yeah Tebow is not good enough to bring a team back from a margin that high.

Vince Young quit on the Titans multiple times, to the point he almost retired. He's the only NFL QB ever that had to have his ******* mommy stick up for him in the press. And you think the guy is a winner? Are you ******* serious?

And by the way if the game is 7 points or less 4th quarter I think Tebow is good. They can run that spread option and he is a really good running back with good vision and ability to break arm tackles.

But If the team is down by 14+ points Tebow is in trouble.

1 game. Out of 5 now he has won 4. The whole team has played better since he took over. They score more points, the defense is playing better. Leaders lead and make others around them better. Tebow does that.

31-17 is better than 80% of starting QB's in this league. Yes, he is a winner.

Also, I won't deny him being a ***** than. He was. But he wins.

What I meant about Bledsoe and George is that they both beat defenses by throwing balls defenders didn't expect. Basically defenders would relax and get burnt.
Same was happening for Cam.

The other thing is that both guys made mistakes by throwing bad throws.

This is what Cam is turning into. Sorry if you can't see it.

well they have faced weaker competition as of late which helps. Maybe the defense has finally gotten the right pieces working together. I don't follow Denver close enough to know everything about the defense but they do have some studs and have been playing really well lately.

Heck playing the weaker teams as of late helps a ton.

I am not saying he is not a good leader but you are a little over the top on his leadership just magically making things happen.

Lots of factors and you like to put it all on Tebow which is not correct.

Well maybe Carolina should run the spread option like Denver does and only have Cam throw a few times a game like Tebow and see what happens.

Cam has more interceptinos because they opened the offense up for him and let him throw. There is a risk/reward and this is year 1 for him in the system.

I will not say Cam is going to be great or bad long term. He has the tools to be very good lets see if he protects the ball better.

What Cam is turning into? Dude he's a rookie. Like all NFL rookies at QB he's making mistakes. That's what he is now. What he's turning into is something completely different.

And yet he is a backup QB and would be on 80% of NFL teams, why do you think that is?

B/C he had a mental breakdown. I'm not saying I'd want Young as my QB but I'm just pointing out a fact. He wins!!

He won for a few seasons, but can't handle the mental grind of being an NFL quarterback. But you are right. Inaccurate and mentally soft are like 2 of the top 3 thinks you look for in an NFL QB.

Jake Locker is far superior to both teblow and radio. He came in for hasselberger in the titans game and played really well. Very mobile, good crisp accurate passes. He's smaller than I thought, however.I also didn't notice Locker confusing a football field with a church.

I loled at the radio comment
