1. Factually incorrect.
2. Does the extraneous space thrown in there somehow make this seem a little gross to anyone else?

"Tigers eat Hawkeyes for dinner" = a really uncreative sign idea, but good for 2.5 seconds of ESPN airtime.

"Tigers eat hawk eyes for dinner" = a mental picture I did not need.

at least they showed up for the game. I was afraid they would back-out again.....:)
 
There are people who actually think we are Hawk Eyes. When I was in the band in the early 90s, we hosted the Northwestern band, a couple of them asked me "why are you the Hawk Eyes and not the Hawk Claws or something? "
