Two-way Tie ...

1. Is either of them in the BCS top 2?
   
2. If no, then it's the head-to-head winner
   
3. If the teams did not play each other (or tied), then it's best overall record
   
4. If it's still a tie, then it's the highest-ranked in the final BCS
   

Three-way Tie ...

1. If one team defeated both of the other teams, they win
   
2. If no, and if two of them defeated the third, then the third is out, and the other two revert to the two-way tiebreaker
   
3. If three still tied, then it's best overall record
4. If three still tied, and one is out because of overall record, the other two revert to the two-way tiebreaker
5. If it's still a tie, then it's the highest-ranked in the final BCS
