Sorry but this is wrong. There were no Nike Shwoooooses back in the day and there shouldn't be one on this Jersey. It's not like they don't get any exposure these days. C-MON MAN

Goddamn, how did I space off on that one? lol. Well either way, I'd kill to have Tyler Sash's jersey hanging up at home in the my parents den (I'm a student at the UI, not a 40 year old in the parents' basement lol) and the helmet in a glass case.
 
AS for throwbacks to Hayden's day when he's elected to the College Football Hall of Fame, unless I'm really too high, fly'n, stoned or drunk, the good man is already in.

I too wonde why IOWA has to ask NIKE for permission.

How was IOWA even able to field a football in the 50's with a couple of Rose Bowl wins without Phil's blessing?

That one was pointed out 3 months ago, Shada. They'll still have some marks and stuff from Ball State helmets and the like. There's all kinds of color transfers on my high school jersey from the other teams' facemasks. The unis would still look like they'd been played in.

I still wish we were wearing white in this game since we wore white in both Rose Bowl wins. Anyone else concur?
 
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I didn't have enough time to read through the entire thread - Are those the exact helmets they are going to use? I seem to remember some discussion centering around that. Pretty sure people were stating that the #s would not be on the helmets. I for one hope that they are. Any updated info on that would be awesome. Thanks!
