Three Final Words for the Clown Trolls

You're dwelling on the past bro, on to the next one.

It has been a while since Iowa so dominated Clones and got a nice win in the city with great water (HOO-RAY). Let Hawk fans gloat a little bit. Clown fans who rubbed it in our face in recent years are getting a nice helping of pay back.

At the end of the day, Iowa State is still one of the worst programs in the history of college football. Isn't that enough payback? Saying anything negative to them at any time is like kicking them when they are down.

Any team that has a smoke machine, tornado siren and a new Southeast End Zone can hardly be viewed as one of the worst programs in the history of college football. Cyclone State, brah.

That's going to look mighty empty for the majority of its existence. Thanks Paul. Thanks Jamie. It looks good from the outside though!

for anyone who went to the game Saturday. Did they blow that tornado siren every time Iowa was in an offensive play? isu is known for that, pretty low ball IMO.

My three words would be ... Eat a **** followed by Matt Roths two words for lsu and a "well...bye" from tombstone.

I was there on Saturday. No they did not blow the siren. They do it during their intros and I can only recall it going off one other time. May have been when they scored or something. They didn't do the annoying loudspeaker thing when they were up on the line like they had done in the past. The ISU band played loudly right until the Hawks got up on the line then they stopped. It didn't seem to hinder Iowa any. Our seats were right where Krieger-Coble fumbled and Vandeberg scooped it up for the TD. It was lower level of what would have been the old grass corner right in line with the sideline.

I will say the ISU fans I encountered were all great. I don't know where all the bad stories come from that make it seem like they are terrible in treatment of Iowa fans. I didn't see that or experience. Honestly a good chunk of the tailgates had both Iowa and ISU fans mixed. Maybe amongst the inebriated college age kids there might be some unfriendly banter but I have gone to the last 5 Iowa / ISU games in Ames and have not had a bad encounter with an ISU fan. The food offered there still leaves something to be desired inside the stadium. A lot like at Kinnick. Hot dogs, brats, etc. And the water was $4.50 a bottle while "only" $4 a bottle at Kinnick.

Back to the way things should be. Iowa also got big wins against the clowns this weekend in women's soccer and volleyball. Iowa now leads the Cy-Hawk series 7-0! I look forward to the domination continuing in wrestling and for both basketball teams.

I do want to say how classy most of the Iowa State fans were at the game. It was a beautiful day. This is a big rivalry game and it is our Super Bowl as well. The Iowa State team played a tremendous game and Coach Rhoads handled the defeat in a professional way. I tip my hat to most of the Iowa State fans. I just get tired of the relentless trolling on this board. It just gets old.
