1. Aaron White has quietly become a huge offensive threat in the half-court offense. He is so much better at driving this season (particularly as of late) and can take over a game no different than Marble. Adding an occasional 3 to his game makes him a nightmare to guard, as he has a very fast first step when driving.
2. Marble presents an equally deadly mismatch when posting up, and Iowa took advantage of this often (particularly in the first half). Given that Iowa's bigs can shoot from the outside presents some major mismatches with White and Uthoff (or McCabe) on the perimeter and "smaller" guys like Marble down low.
2. FT's down the stretch. Iowa made them, while OSU did not. Refreshing change from the previous close games.
3. Uthoff needs more minutes. His game is different than White's but he is, once again, a really tough mismatch for most teams.
4. As much crap as Woody gets, he anchored the defense today. Without him in the game, OSU keeps pounding inside successfully. Look forward to watching him develop his offense in the next 2.5 seasons.
5. Ogelsby played within himself, had good shot selection and provided a lift. Honestly, if he can do that each game (around 10 points) and keep defenses honest, that might be all that Iowa needs.
