Thoughts from last night ...

i just want to post a few things to get off my chest after last night's game:

* I think Woodbury is coming into his own. I thought finally the kid stepped up and really played good, hard Big Ten basketball. His offense still has a ways to go, but he was a forceful defender and rebounder. One thing I don't understad is why he refuses to hit the floor. Dude, you are 19 years old and are playing D-I bball ... hit the floor for a loose ball. I'm 33 years and I still hit the floor for loose balls in my rec. league.

* May has really come into his own. After glimpses of solid play his freshman year, it is nice to see May shining again his senior year. I really feel going back to the Purdue game, he has been a solid offensive threat. I'm glad to see him earning the PT.

* Marbe has to get his head on straight. Dev, you are the team's best offensive player - even when you are in a slump, you have to look to score. Take the ball to the rim. If you your offense is struggling, you have to be there for us on D - the easy layup you gave up late last night really hurt.

* Gessel is a treat to watch. I love watching the kid develop and become more of a leader on this team. It is going to be fun watching him the next few years.
