After the last 2wks I gotta tell ya I can't wait for this game Saturday. We need a distraction and I hope this team delivers Saturday. I hope they come out spitting mad and beat up the cats. NW has a pretty good defense, typically potent offense (especially when they play us), some young talent, and a coach that hates us.

Hopefully the players are not like members of this board and linger on stuff (sorry... Couldn't resist). Hopefully they are focused on winning the football game.

I agree.

jNW always seeks to stop the run. I expect they will. Traditionally Iowa throws well against jNW.
 


NW is getting healthy....with Vitale and a couple others back practicing. Shuler is back. NW has missed their WR's all season, so this does not bode well for Iowa. Jackson is a stud at rb. Simeian is healthier than he has been since week 2. Everything is lining up for a tough day for the Hawkeyes....praying we get a win...by one point or 100...I will celebrate....Fitz sucks.

Those guys were banged up in the Nebraska game. They have been playing all season. I think Fitz said Shuler, Vitale and one of their starting safeties were all day to day.

Their staring MLb is out for the game.

Sometimes it doesnt matter who is playing for jNW because Fitz takes chances and blitzes and goes off ******.

Look what the redskins did Monday, total blitzes and beat the boys which they shouldnt have straight up.

Fitz's offense dink and dunk, zone read gives us fits except Simien is not that fast at QB.
 


This game goes down to the wire...just like last year...we have ample opportunities to put these guys away and they just keep hangin around....The Fightin Fitz's always find a way to linger, just like a bad in-law who left the room 3 days ago and you can still smell his Aqua Velva.....:eek:
