Didn't sound like the greatest kid. Convicted at age 18 of having non-consensual sex with TWO girls at a party he threw. Served six months in prison for that. Probably was out drinking the night this happened. Makes it hard to feel real bad for him but his parents have been through a lot, it seems.

Not to be overly course - but how many people's kids die every day from accidents or crimes.
Yet I'm supposed to care about this one because his dad coaches the packers?
Why would you post this?? unbelievably stupid.Didn't sound like the greatest kid. Convicted at age 18 of having non-consensual sex with TWO girls at a party he threw. Does anyone have a link to article about kid getting arrested? I am a HUGE Joe Philbin fan and would love to see him take over the Bears...I had never heard about his kids run in with the law.
I knew there was some compassion there somewhere. Agree totally with the sex conviction part, but always sad when a young person loses their chance in life, no matter the circumstance. JMO.There was a link in the OP's linked story. Here it is:

I honestly wouldn't have known about his past if it wasn't part of the original post and probably would have skipped right over the thread. He apparently admitted taking advantage of 2 incapacitated girls. I have no sympathy for creeps like that, whether they are tied to the Packers or the Hawks and can't imagine anyone else would. I feel much more sympathy for the girls involved.
That being said, I wish the young man would have learned from his mistakes and become a great person. Maybe he was doing that. I do feel for his parents as they watched him struggle with the legal issue and then this ultimate tragic ending. I can't imagine the pain of either of these situations, thankfully. My original post was a reaction to the criminal issues. May he rest in peace and hopefully time heals as best as possible for his family. Tragedy all the way around....
