This Week - Indiana

This game usually scares the crap out of me, kinda like Northwestern, as they usually bring their A+ game for the Hawks. But, though they've been successful throwing the ball, they sure give up a lot of points and turn it over quite a bit too. I think the game will look a lot like MSU, unless Chappel has tons of time. I think he's a good QB with high potential, but will have to play a flawless game to have any chance to win. He'll get his yards, for sure, but we'll wear out their D and be able to move it at will by the end of the game.

Early thoughts?

The question will be, what kind of D will we run? Will we go nickel or dime? If Tarp is still a no-go, I see us bringing in Bernstein at least for an extra DB. Indy is like 110th in rushing.

it has zero percent chance of happening but I'd like to see 5 DL vs. their 5 OL guys, Chappel will have to run for his life on most plays.

wouldn't it scare the crap out of them to see clayborn, daniels, klug, ballard AND binns all on the line!

I think IND, will put some points on the board against Iowa. Just like last year iowa will have to outscore them to win. I think like the michigan, game.. this will take our offense to win the game. Iowa can' go conservative in this game. or they will get a run and a scare like michigan did to iowa in it's comback.

Iowa should win this game. I look for Arob to pile on the yards this week. the best way to defeat IND, is to play keep away, and score every chance you get.

Usually I'm with you that this game worries me, but for some reason I see this game going like the one in 08 that Iowa won 45-9 and not like last year that even though Iowa won by 18 it was closer and frankly Iowa was lucky to win.
